What's the difference between the Digital Fabrication Badge and the Advanced 3D Printing Badge?

The digital fabrication badge has been set up for students studying courses in the School of Built Environment to give them access to the Dig Fab Lab which is part of the Design Futures Lab. Other students and staff from outside of the school are more than welcome to complete this badge but will need to contact the Design Futures Lab staff to book into one of the training sessions manually.

The Comprehensive 3D printing badge has been set up for students who wish to delve deeper into the world of FDM 3D printing.

Do I need to have a badge to 3D print?

No! All UNSW students and staff are welcome to send a print through our online 3D Printing Hub service. Simply upload your file here to get started.

How quickly can I get something printed?
