Wood Workshop

Located in room G06 of The Squarehouse (Building E4)

The DFL Wood Workshop is a comprehensively outfitted workshop to allow staff students to perform all the tasks required for the making of models and prototypes for their courses.

The first space users are inducted into in the DFL, this space allows users access to equipment such as bandsaws, disc and spindle sanders, drill presses and various hand tools.

Further training can be undertaken to allow access to the drop saw, lathes, table router and chisel mortiser. A table saw and planer (staff use only) can be used to cut timber or ply to the required size and dressed.
