This Makerspace consists of our largest collection of hand tools, power tools, and machinery within the Eng Makerspaces. Within this Makerspace, we have extensive metalworking capabilities
The Elec Makerspace is our official 3D Printing and Electronics Hub within the Engineering Makerspaces. We have a variety of filament and resin printers, along with soldering stations for you to prototype with!
To gain access to the UNSW Makerspace Network users need to earn access Badges.
Badging is how we ensure UNSW Making users have the skills to safely and efficiently use our network of materials, machines and spaces.
Earn badges by first completing associated online learning components followed by in-person Badge Training.
The first badge you should complete is WS Workshop Safety Badge.
Let our technicians guide you through a mix of curated and created tutorials on a range of different topics from Arduino programming to mold and model making, from metal machining to drafting!
