To use the Elec Makerspace, please complete the Workshop Safety Induction Badge and the Basic Soldering Badge. If you're just coming in to pick up a 3D Print or talk to our staff no badge is required, check out our opening hours here.
This area contains different forms of additive manufacture, primarily using Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) 3D Printers.
The Electronics Prototyping and Testing area also contains soldering stations, reflow stations, digital microscope and signal generators. This area is designed for students to tinker create their own circuits by soldering, inspecting and testing their PCB's.
