Benjamin Chevalier is a sessional academic and fashion technical officer in the Textiles and Fashion program. With a background in design from the École Supérieure d’Art et Design de Saint‑Étienne in France, he brings extensive expertise in knitwear and surface design. Benjamin supports students in developing advanced technical skills across hand and machine knitting, crochet, and textile embellishment. Drawing on his professional experience in Berlin and Sydney, he helps students understand the creative and technical processes behind contemporary fashion production, from hand‑crafted couture to experimental fabric design.
