Penny Zhang is a Chinese Australian designer–maker working across ceramics, illustration, and 3D visualisation. She is a Sydney-based ceramic artist and the founder of Pspspsstudio. Alongsisde her studio practice, Penny is part of the ceramics team at the UNSW Making Centre, supporting students as a tutor and technical officer. Her practice explores themes of identity, emotional resonance, and belonging, often drawing inspiration from her relationship with the self and the influence of her surroundings. Through narrative-driven works, she investigates well-being and the invisible spaces between the physical and loose thoughts.
