Getting Started

Fusion 360 is a cloud-based 3D CAD/CAM tool for product development that combines industrial and mechanical design, collaboration, and machining in a single package. All tutorials are made by Autodesk and were curated by the UNSW Makerspace Team on this module for educational purposes.

To save your progress and designs, log in into your Autodesk account when following these tutorials.

To download and get started on Fusion 360, follow this link to create your Autodesk account and download the software onto your computer.

If you are a current student or an educator, you can have free access to Fusion360 if you use your University email address!
