Introduction to soldering in the makerspace network! Also acts as entry level induction to the ENG Elec Makerspace.
This badge will give students and staff a comprehensive overview of the use of soldering and de-soldering stations, hot air station, electronic hand tools and testing facilities. To complete the badge you will need to undertake the Basic Soldering Badge Practical.

In this session, you will learn the basics of through hole soldering. This training is required to use the soldering facilities in the Elec Makerspace and it is a prerequisite for the Advanced Soldering Badge.
