The MTS Dynamic Actuator Badge certifies that the holder has completed the required safety documentation and supervised competency training for operating the MTS 25 kN Dynamic Load Frame in TestLAB at UNSW Canberra ADFA Campus.

To obtain this badge, users must:

  • Prerequisites
  • Read and acknowledge the Safe Work Procedure (SWP) for the MTS Dynamic Load Frame.
  • Read and acknowledge the Risk Management Form (RMF) for Dynamic Load Frame testing.
  • Complete the MTS Dynamic Triaxial competency training with an authorised TestLAB Technical Support Group (TSG) trainer.

Note: Check the availability of TSG staff before attending any in-person training session.

The badge will only be issued once TSG staff confirm that the user has demonstrated safe and competent operation of the MTS Dynamic Load Frame. Additional supervised training may be required if competency has not yet been demonstrated.
