The Screen Heatpress Badge/Induction will cover preparation, safe operation and clean up protocols when using the heat press, granting students access to the machine.

Heat Press machines are designed to transfer printed images, designs or artworks using heat, pressure and time. They’re are widely used to apply images onto flat materials and substrates such as fabrics, timbers, plastics, metals, glass and papers. The Screen Heat Press induction will introduce you to the heat press area within the Screen Printing workshops, our heat presses and techniques used to transfer images and designs using these machines. We will cover all procedures included in the SWP. The induction will grant you access to the heat press area within the Screen Printing workshops. You will be instructed on how to safely prepare, operate and clean up the equipment. Please wear enclosed shoes to the induction.
