T-shirt Screen Printing equipment are specially designed workstations that enable screen printers to efficiently produce high quality images, designs or artworks onto items including t-shirts, hoodies, tote bags or tea towels in large commercial quantities and with accurate multi-colour registration.

The Screen T-Shirt Print induction will introduce you to t-shirt printing equipment such as 1colour stations, multicolour carousels, heat guns, flash cure units, and tunnel dryers.

The induction will grant you access to the t-shirt printing area within the Screen Printing workshops. We will cover all procedures included in the SWP. You will be instructed on how to safely prepare, operate and clean up the equipment. 

Important In-Person Induction Requirements

Due to the length and physical nature of this in-person induction, please come prepared to ensure your comfort and safety.

• You must wear enclosed shoes to the induction
• Please ensure you are well rested and have eaten beforehand
• Bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated throughout the session
• The induction is standing and involves walking - there will be little to no seating available during this time
• Areas of the Screen Printing facility can be hot in summer and cold in winter, so please dress appropriately
