The Circular Saw badge focuses on the safe use and operation of the circular saw for controlled cutting in timber and sheet materials.

This induction focuses on the safe use of the circular saw, covering essential Health & Safety, hazards, required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and workshop guidelines.

Students will learn how to correctly set up and operate the circular saw, including blade selection, depth adjustment, and safe handling techniques to achieve accurate, controlled cuts.

Students may complete a simple task using the circular saw to demonstrate safe and correct use.

Please attend in covered footwear and appropriate clothing.
