Toolroom Hand Router & Trimmer
The Router badge focuses on the safe use and operation of the hand router or trimmer for shaping, trimming, and profiling timber.
This induction focuses on the safe use of the router, covering essential Health & Safety, hazards, required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and workshop guidelines.
Students will learn how to correctly set up and operate the router, including bit selection, depth setting, and safe handling techniques for controlled cutting and shaping.
Students may complete a simple task using the router to demonstrate safe and correct use.
Please attend in covered footwear and appropriate clothing.
