Toolroom Handheld Plasma Cutter
The Handheld Plasma Cutter badge focuses on the safe use and operation of the plasma cutter for precise cutting of metal.
This induction focuses on the safe use of the handheld plasma cutter, covering essential Health & Safety, hazards, required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and workshop guidelines.
Students will learn how to correctly set up and operate the plasma cutter, including material setup, torch handling, and safe cutting techniques for accurate, controlled cuts.
Students may complete a simple task using the plasma cutter to demonstrate safe and correct use.
Please attend in covered footwear and appropriate clothing.
