Toolroom Metal Bandsaw
The Metal Bandsaw badge focuses on the safe use and operation of the metal bandsaw for accurate cutting of metal stock.
This induction focuses on the safe use of the metal bandsaw, covering essential Health & Safety, hazards, required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and workshop guidelines.
Users will learn how to correctly set up and operate the bandsaw, including blade selection, speed settings, material clamping, and safe cutting techniques for accurate, controlled cuts.
Users may complete a simple task using the metal bandsaw to demonstrate safe and correct use.
