This induction focuses on the safe use of the metal drill press, covering essential Health & Safety, hazards, required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and workshop guidelines.
Users will learn how to correctly set up and operate the drill press, including bit selection, speed settings, work holding, and safe drilling techniques for accurate, controlled results.
Users may complete a simple task using the drill press to demonstrate safe and correct use.
