The Mitre Saw badge introduces safe operation, setup, and basic cutting techniques for accurate crosscuts and angled cuts in timber.

This induction covers essential Health & Safety for using the mitre saw, including hazards, required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and workshop guidelines.

Students will learn correct setup and operation, including material positioning, clamping, and accurate angle cutting.

Students may complete a simple task to demonstrate safe and correct use.

Please attend in covered footwear.
