This induction focuses on the safe use of the dry sand blaster, covering essential Health & Safety, hazards, required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and workshop guidelines.

Students will learn how to correctly set up and operate the sand blasting equipment, including media selection, pressure control, and safe handling techniques for effective surface preparation and finishing.

Students may complete a simple task using the sand blaster to demonstrate safe and correct use.
