This induction focuses on the safe use of the scroll saw, covering essential Health & Safety, hazards, required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and workshop guidelines.

Students will learn how to correctly set up and operate the scroll saw, including blade selection, tensioning, and safe cutting techniques for accurate, detailed work.

Students may complete a simple task using the scroll saw to demonstrate safe and correct use.
