This induction focuses on the safe use of the spot welder, covering essential Health & Safety, hazards, required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and workshop guidelines.

Students will learn how to correctly set up and operate the spot welder, including material preparation, electrode positioning, and safe welding techniques to achieve strong, consistent joints.

Students may complete a simple task using the spot welder to demonstrate safe and correct use.
